Amy and Leigh's Wedding Story

This is the story of Amy and Leigh's real wedding that took place in September 2009.  We searched high and low for the perfect venue which turned out to be on an island in Boston Harbor. We transported all of the necessary supplies, including every plate and every chair, by a boat packed to the gills with all this beautiful decor. 

All of the guests came to Boston from around the world for this wedding weekend.  The theme of the wedding was Moonless Night and all of the guests arrived to the island from downtown Boston via sailboat.

Once on the island, they heard a bagpiper play as the brides and their daughter led the ceremony processional. After the candlit ceremony, guests dined on a four course dinner inspired by the brides' favorite restaurant.  It was a moonless night and it was absolutely perfect.  Enjoy the images below taken by Katje Hempel.
