"We just had our wedding last weekend and since then we have pretty much talked about it every second we get a chance. It was the best wedding I could have ever dreamed of and there is no way we could have done it without Bernadette and her team at 14 Stories!
From start to finish Bernadette listened to exactly what we wanted and walked us through every single step of making it a reality. Bernadette has a very mellow and calm demeanor which made the process so much more enjoyable and less stressful for my wife and I. Without the organization, vendor contacts and overall knowledge of 14 Stories our wedding would have never come to fruition. The day of our wedding I was able to get up and not stress about about name card placements and last minute tasks because I knew that Bernadette was right on top of everything and we were in good hands.
The wedding turned out better than I could have ever imagined and we have Bernadette to thank for that. It was amazing! Anyone who is looking to have an advocate, friend, listener, knowledgeable, calming influence, organized wedding planner should look no further than 14 Stories! Once we decided to marry, and were planning long distance from across the country, I didn't know where to begin or what to do, but from the first time we spoke on the phone, I knew I was talking to the right person. I told you a little about us and what type of wedding I would like to to have and you made it happen. I wanted a Church wedding you gave me 'The Old South Church.' I wanted a hotel where we would be treated with respect and dignity and you found the best location and got us a welcome cocktail party and awesome rooms. I wanted a restaurant and you got us one of the best restaurants in town. Two weeks later we saw they received an award for top chef.
Overall, you brought this all together, kept us informed and in the loop everyday. It never could have done it without you two and it was all done by emails, phones calls and text messages. It's hard to believe you brought this together with just one 4 hour meeting when my partner and I flew into town on a layover 2 months before our actual wedding day.
We can never thank you enough for making our wedding day happen without a glitch. God knows I was a nervous wreck. I couldn't have done it without you. God Bless you and Jen for being more then just wedding coordinators - we felt like you two were like long time friends and truly took care of us. Love you guys and will always be grateful. "We've been scheming for months about how we can appropriately thank you for all the work you did for our wedding including all logistics, technical, scheduling, emotional, categorical, hair-brained ideas that we floated out there, and you made happen. Every time we share a story about our wedding we reflect on how grateful we are to you and suggest to all our friends who are getting hitched that they hire you. Seriously, you helped make it all flow like a dream! To not have been stressed at our own wedding was surely the biggest gift that we received."

When we started planning our wedding, we initially did not want to hire a consultant, having been to some weddings where the planner was too visible and seemed more interested in keeping to a schedule than letting people have fun...During our initial consultation, we realized that you were someone we could work with who would help us create what we wanted rather than forcing us into a standard wedding. One of our big concerns was holding the reception in a church community hall while not wanting the community hall look. You managed to completely transform that space into something fabulous.
You had a number of creative suggestions throughout the planning which went beyond our preconceived notions from family weddings over the years. Many of these ideas would have never occurred to us and were ultimately very successful...In spite of having been involved in all of the decisions, when we finally saw the space right before the wedding, we were blown away with how it looked. You had successfully transformed a simple hall into an elegant wedding space. All of the details were handled and the event went very smoothly. "I just wanted to drop you an email now that we’re home and say thank you again. I will apologize in advance because I am about to just gush about the entire wedding process. When we first reached out to you back in September, we had no clue what was in store for us as far as what decisions we’d need to make, the people we’d meet, or what our wedding would ultimately be like. With our lack of wedding experience, we weren’t even sure what a wedding planner did completely. What we found out last weekend was that you are a PRO!!
You took the time and effort to line up vendors that you thought would work best with us and, not only did they make our wedding absolutely perfect, but we found them to be such a good fit, we’re actually missing our interactions with them. This includes you and Jen. We came away feeling like we made new friends in MA. I think that must speak volumes to your ability as a planner to gauge your clients personalities and wishes and align them with vendors that fit best.
I know a lot of couples must say ‘Oh our wedding was perfect in every way’, but I honestly feel that way. From the time we got into MA and started kicking into wedding mode on Thursday, everything went so smoothly. The license process was a breeze and the hair and makeup trial was a blast. I can’t believe I am the one saying that since it’s hair and makeup.
I am a worrier by nature and found I didn’t have one worry Saturday because I knew y’all had it covered. The wedding itself was amazing and perfect, full of tears and laughter, and Duff and I agree that we both have never felt so much love as we did that weekend. People consistently commented that it was a ‘classy’, ‘romantic’, ‘fun’ wedding. That is all we could have hoped for with our friends and families. For everyone to feel the love that Duff and I have for each other and to carry away memories of it for a lifetime. For that I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You helped to give Duff and I the most special memory in our lives together to-date and you and Jen will always hold a special place in our heart. If you are ever down this way, please let us know. "I just wanted to congratulate you once again for the absolutely heroic and fantastic job you did coordinating Amy's and Leigh's wedding weekend. Everything was as perfect as it could be given all of the crazy factors that popped up in the last week and all the rain on the day of. You pulled together a great team, and I appreciated both your efficiency and the respectful manner in which you interacted with everyone.
It was stunning - when the sun went down on Saturday and the pirate-like sail boat was floating toward the candlelit dock, it was absolutely mystical, and the walk up the path to the hill was stunning and magical!!! Just the way they wanted it to be. When they reached the top of the hill and stood under the tree, Amy looked at me and whispered 'Perfect.'
