Your Wedding Story

At 14 Stories, we believe that you deserve to have a meticulously created wedding that tells your story and gives your guests an unforgettable wedding experience that is authentically you.  We hear again and again from our clients' guests, "That was the best wedding I ever went to" - and that's our goal.

We start each wedding production process with a fresh slate by listening to your vision and your story without judgement or expectations.  As we work together, we take a project management approach in which we carefully balance the stylistic and logistical decisions you'll need to make - the pretty and the necessary! We lead this process in a very focused and smart but easygoing way.  
For every comprehensive production booked, 14 Stories will make a donation to a marriage equality charity (such as Freedom to Marry or Marriage Equality USA) on your first anniversary.  

Without further ado...a sampling of our services...

  • Produce a custom, line-item wedding budget, custom wedding timeline (that serves as an agenda for all of our meetings) and task list.
  • Provide online file management and wedding calendar management that you can access with a password.
  • Coordinate hotel room blocks for out of town guests and arrange tours during their stay.
  • Coordinate site selection for wedding ceremony and reception, after party, rehearsal dinner and brunch, and attend all venue visits.
  • Provide qualified referrals to all vendors, coordinate and negotiate contracts and attend all meetings. 
  • Hire security, EMS, valet, rent generators and otherwise coordinate the critical logistics required for your event.
  • Coordinate custom designed wedding invitation suite for all of the elements of your wedding.  Assemble and mail invitations. Manage all wedding RSVPs and follow up with non-responders.
  • Manage all elements of design and decoration, including creating inspiration boards and sketches of the space and bringing those elements to life through furniture rental, couture linens, pipe and drape, lighting, artwork and other design pieces.
  • Create or procure custom favors, gifts and hotel welcome bags for out of town guests.
  • Design and provide a candy bar, floral services or other custom design elements.
  • Prepare week of event schedule for couple and vendors.
  • Attend and run the ceremony rehearsal.
  • Everything you can possibly think of on your wedding day including: arrive early with emergency kit; assist with wardrobe; set up everything; order and cue the ceremony processional and recessional; manage the flow of events and keep your wedding running on time; calmly and resourcefully address any concerns or issues that arise; coordinate clean up, ensure wedding gifts are secure and arrangements made for delivery.
  • Everything you can possibly think of related to other wedding weekend activities including: organizing tours, planning parties and after-parties, orchestrating entertainment and much more.
