Are you with us when we get our marriage license? 

Yes! We love getting to know our couples and this is the perfect time to do so.

What is the waiting period, once we obtain a marriage license?

In Cook County you are required to wait 24 hours from when you obtain your license until you can legally get married. Please plan to spend at least one night in Chicago prior to the wedding. 

Are these packages only for couples living outside of Illinois? 

No, we are happy to arrange weddings for anyone, no matter where they live! 

Is airfare included? 

No, we do not include airfare. 

Are these packages available for straight couples too? 

Of course! We work with all couples in love. 

How much does it cost to rent space at a private club / hotel? 

The rates start at $500 but vary depending on your final selections. 

Can I have chairs and ceremony decor at my outdoor ceremony?

Unfortunately we are not allowed to bring in these items but we will work closely with you to select a location that is beautiful and doesn’t need additional decor. 

Can the Destiny Chicago package be customized? 

Of course! You can select your own hotel, type of flowers and cake flavors. You can also select between a male and female celebrant. You will have some options in your ceremony location as well. 

If the package does not include food and beverage, how much should I expect to pay for those? 

If you want dinner reservations at a local restaurant, you will pay published menu pricing. If you would like to do something at the private club / hotel the average pricing begins at $150 per person before tax and service charge. 

Will there be a processional and recessional at the wedding? 

The ceremony will be customized to you needs and desires, this is completely up to you! 

I do not want a wedding cake or flowers - can you remove those from the package? 

Yes, we can add or subtract from the package as you wish, however, we do not reduce the package price of Destiny Chicago. 

How much is the deposit amount? 

The non-refundable deposit is 50% payable upon booking a package. We accept check, money order or credit card. 

When is my balance due? 

The balance is due seven business days before your arrival. 

If there’s a change in my plans, can I reschedule the date? 

We will do our best to work with you on rescheduling your wedding once it has been booked, pending our availability. You have one year from the original date to reschedule and the deposit is non-refundable because we use it to pay our subcontracted vendors (like the photographer). 

Should I tip my Wedding Concierge? 

If you have a wonderful experience with your Wedding Concierge, then my all means, tip them if you feel comfortable doing so.
