A Wedding at the Red Inn

Steven and Richard, who live in Los Angeles, hired us to plan four days of parties in Provincetown, Massachusetts as part of their wedding celebration. The 100 guests joined us from all over the world beginning on Thursday for welcome reception at the Harbor Lounge, followed by a clambake at Crown and Anchor on Friday, and then the wedding itself on Saturday at The Red Inn, and finally a closing brunch at Victor's on Sunday.   More

A Wedding in the Pines

Chris and Jeff live in Manhattan but hired us to plan a three day wedding celebration at one of their favorite places in the world: the Fire Island Pines. Planning a wedding in Fire Island is no easy feat, especially considering that there are no roads and no cars! Every rental item, every guest and every vendor had to come over to the island by ferry or freight. Planning a wedding in the Pines truly requires having a great team and knowing all the right people to call, but is so worth it. The views, nature elements and sense of community are unrivaled.  More

Love is Love Event at the W Ft Lauderdale Hotel

One of my favorite hotels in the country is the W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. On February 4, I was invited to visit the hotel and facilitate a one hour training for the catering sales staff, the general manager, and other team members. The training covered all aspects of same-sex weddings, to ensure this hotel is totally equipped to be great advocates for the LGBT clients, and understand the latest trends in same-sex weddings. The team was very enthusiastic and excited, and I love this beautiful property. It's going to be a great destination for same-sex couples.  More

The Provincetown-Boston Wedding

Crissy and Ellen live in Boston's South End and wanted 14 Stories to design and plan a chic, urban wedding, preferably with a view. These ladies don't love being the center of attention, so we actually had the short and sweet ceremony in Provincetown the day before the reception in Boston. The Ptown ceremony was just a small group of family + of course the dog, Murphy.   More

Happy New Year

Happy new year, friends and colleagues!  I hope you had a wonderful holiday season.  This post is a little late because our holidays were kind of hectic...between both of us getting horrible colds and Jen's grandma passing away, we have been fairly unplugged. As always, we start the new year highlighting 14 things that were exciting about LGBTQ rights, marriage equality and our company in 2013. Enjoy the list below and we look forward to hearing from you to celebrate this new year!  More

A Beautiful Gay Wedding at the State Room

I really really really love the work we get to do and the wonderful clients we meet. Lee and Tom are a perfect example, a very well matched couple, equally nerdy and equally funny. Their wedding had a little bit of geek for everyone - the science geek, the computer geek, the board game geek, the SciFi geek...it was such a beautiful, extremely personalized wedding and we couldn't be more proud to have produced it. This awesome gay wedding was at Boston's State Room, one of the most beautiful venues in the city.  More
