Some Days You Gotta Dance

Bernadette Coveney Smith - Sunday, June 05, 2011
Memorial Day weekend was Hayley and Erica's wedding and I'll share the photos as soon as I have them, but in the meantime, here's a shot of me rocking out with my brides.  The fantastic band Brickpark had the girls singing along to "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey and called me up to join in.  Of course I did, and of course one of my favorite photographers, Kat Hempel, got the money shot.

Looks like so much fun. As a wedding vendor / photographer, I do all I can to remain unobtrusive while capturing wedding photography so that the photos show the events just as they happen, however sometimes it can be difficult because I build such great
relationships with my brides/grooms that many times they invite me to have a drink with them, dance with them, etc.. and of course I jump at the opportunity... time to hire an assistant so that I'm not missing out on any photos if this happens in the future.
I am a big sucker for weddings, everything about them, and no matter how many weddings I have worked and attended as a guest, there hasn't been a single wedding that I haven't smiled, and even shed a tear.
