What a historic night for marriage equality. Not only did voters pass marriage equality laws in three states: Maryland, Maine and Washington - but it was the first time marriage equality was ever approved by voters. Please stay tuned to this blog for updates on how to get married in those states.
Plus, the first U.S. President to support marriage equality was re-elected. And plus the first openly-gay U.S. Senator was elected, Tammy Baldwin from Wisconsin.
AND finally, voters in Minnesota defeated an anti-gay marriage ballot initiative!
Thanks to our friends at HRC, TheFour, Freedom to Marry, Marriage Equality USA and all the other great organizations for fighting for these victories on behalf of us LGBT Americans.
